Take some time to learn a little bit about each of our wonderful therapist’s experience and specialties!
Carter received her massage training at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, and has been practicing since 2013. She specializes in Trigger Point Therapy, injury based rehabilitative massage, and focused work on neck and shoulders. She also offers Hot Bamboo, Hot Stone, and Prenatal massage. She has experience working alongside chiropractors, as well as experience working in spa settings and wellness centers providing relaxation and therapeutic services. She works with each client to customize their session, making sure to meet each person’s specific needs.
Our Bamboo massage specialist. She uses various lengths and widths of heated bamboo to knead deeper and firmer then experience using only the hands. It is a technique that is excellent for reaching knots and removing lactic acid and other tension -causing wastes. It improves lymphatic drainage, releases endorphins, improves sleep.
I received my certification from Fortis Institute in Pensacola Flordia and my skills include Swedish and Deep Tissue. I take pride in every massage so you will feel relaxed and stress-free.
Kristina graduated from Virginia School of Massage in 2010. Trained in various modalities of massage including Swedish, Reflexology, Myofascial and Deep tissue massage, she’s honed in on her greatest passions with continuing education and further training in Reiki and Craniosacral therapy.
Kristina uses her knowledge and training, in combination with intuition to provide customized massage therapy sessions for general well-being, relaxation/stress relief, increased happiness and quality of life, and recovery from chronic aches/pains and injuries.
Erin Johnson graduated from Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2014. She started her career focusing on hot stone deep tissue and Swedish technics, since moving to Charlottesville her modalities have adapted to sports massage, injury prevention, and recovery. She strongly believes that massage and self-care can start a vast improvement for quality of life when adapted for each individual.
